The text of Revelation states that John was on Patmos, a Greek island where, according to most biblical historians, he was exiled as a result of anti-Christian persecution under the Roman emperor Domitian. Revelations1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
It is from this event in history that these stories have been written. The completed work will have 21 Jotting and an interpretation from each contributor.
Patmos
These writings come from a place of long ago, written by one who had been in the inner circle. A disciple of YESHUA CHRIST, these were this disciple’s personal commentary scrawled on to the wall where this disciple lived, till when is unknown. Yet the words are powerful and still carry the energy of one that was there in that amazing time in our history.
When and where did these writings come into my sight? The when is hazy, around my 26th year. The where is Patmos, Greece, while touring the place where this disciple was kept. Seeing the writing on the wall, my mind took a snap shot of them all and with TRINITY’S help, my wish is to share them with you.
Many may say this place has been lost, destroyed. This may be so, yet all one can say, as Paul said is, “In the body, out of body”. In the spirit or in the flesh, that is unknown, yet these things are known by me, seen by me and from these we wish to share.
The way of sharing is by this community of amazing people around me giving you the writing, then the insight, pictures, poems, stories and commentary that flow from the writings from the wall in that cell of that disciple.
